Hey, I’m Christina

As someone who’s struggled with acne and hyperpigmentation, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident in your own skin.

That’s why I’m dedicated to helping you create a personalized skincare routine that addresses your unique concerns and helps you achieve healthy, glowing skin.

With over a decade of experience and expertise in skincare, I’ve tested countless products and stayed up-to-date on the latest trends and science, so you don’t have to.

Let me be your guide to cut through the noise and find the best products and routine for your skin.

Why Skincare Is Important To Me

To me, skincare is more than achieving picture perfect perfect, glowy, smooth, JLo status skin (although definitely a perk!).

SELF-CARE

My 5-10 minute morning and nighttime routine is a special time for me to disconnect and focus on myself. I’ve been able to destress from my day by giving myself a quick face massage and relax with a clay or sheet mask.

SELF-CONFIDENCE

It’s been a long journey, but I’ve learned to embrace my skin, flaws & all.  I’ve let go of my skincare shame & my skincare regimen has allowed me to have some control over my skin’s appearance.  Even when my skin is having a toddler moment, I know that if I stick to my routine, my skin will slowly improve.

KOREAN ROOTS

As a Korean American, stumbled upon K-Beauty & skincare and began learning about their beauty philosophies, routines, and products. Ultimately, this led into further exploring Korean culture and my heritage.

My Guiding Principles

All the information I share with you is based on my own skin experiences, learnings from others, as well as scientific articles and literature I synthesize.

This page should never replace professional medical advice from your doctor or dermatologist. My goal is to provide you with the information I learn to help you make more educated decisions about which products to use. I promise to always be truthful.

#1 TO ALWAYS RESEARCH MY CONTENT

I spend a lot of time researching the content that I share with you. I will make mistakes, but trust that I’m doing my due-diligence to ensure the information I provide you is accurate.

#2 TO BE OPEN & TRANSPARENT ABOUT BRAND COLLABORATIONS

I will always note if a product was sent to me as a PR sample or if I do any sponsored posts.

#3 TO BE KIND & HAVE FUN

This is my passion after all! It’s important to me to always keep it real with you while having lots of fun along the way!

Fun Fact: I’m Also Kinda Obsessed with For Crafting & DIY Projects

During college, I began getting into hosting parties with my friends. As broke student, I had to get crafty and creative when it came to decorating our apartment or when entertaining.

Over the years, I’ve expressing my creative side through DIY projects and throwing theme parties. I love the entire process from gathering inspiration and creating a mood board to design to crafting and then pulling your ideas together to bring your idea to life.

Here are a few of my favorite projects and parties.

How I Got Here Today

I’ve had a diverse career ranging where I started my career as a nurse and had multiple different healthcare leadership roles, with my most recent job in product operations/ digital strategy.

I have a Doctorate Degree Nursing (DNP), which taught me how to translate research into actionable tips. I love reading and synthesizing all the research to create useful & evidence – based tips.

Skincare/blogging is not my full-time job. I currently work a large health care system in the United States on their Digital Innovation Team. Being exposed to the tech start-up mentality, sparked my entrepreneurial thirst and curiosity, which is how I landed here today. For the past 1o years, I’ve always wanted to start a business, while being able to connect and share my learnings with others to help each other with our skincare journeys.
